The individuals were found with personal information from foreign internet service providers and tools to carry out malicious cyber operations. One of the suspects was also charged with trying to purchase personal information obtained through illegal means.

The SPF emphasized their zero-tolerance policy towards criminal activities in Singapore, especially illegal cyber operations. The authorities have vowed to deal severely with perpetrators to maintain national security and protect against cyber threats.
