Major cyber risk quantification service provider DeNexus and cybersecurity firm Cipher Security have joined forces to enhance the evaluation of industrial control system and operational technology cybersecurity risks faced by critical infrastructure organizations. This partnership allows DeNexus to utilize Cipher’s extensive vulnerability and critical security control data to create more advanced cyber risk assessment, risk mitigation, mitigation project prioritization, and loss projection models. These models, developed with input from both companies, aim to enable better teamwork and decision-making among organizations’ chief information security officers and chief financial officers.

DeNexus founder and CEO Jose Seara expressed the importance of this collaboration, noting that Cipher’s insights and services are key to refining their cyber risk quantification models. By integrating cybersecurity and risk management solutions, this partnership strengthens cyber resilience and helps organizations combat evolving threats more effectively, particularly in safeguarding critical infrastructure.
