In April 2023, the Cybersecurity Coalition for Education was established with the goal of enhancing cybersecurity measures in schools. Over the past year, the Coalition has made significant strides in achieving its mission:
Two new organizations, Caetra.io and CDWG, became contributing members, contributing their expertise to the cause. The Coalition also expanded its Advisory Council to include over 100 professionals from schools and companies.
There are now over 300 Certified Cybersecurity Rubric Evaluators (CCREs) worldwide, thanks to the training and certification exam provided by the Coalition.
The Coalition also released version 2.0 of the Cybersecurity Rubric and updated the CCRE Training to align with the latest NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ensuring that their resources stay current with evolving cybersecurity practices.
Members of the Advisory Council have expressed their appreciation for the collaborative environment provided by the Coalition, emphasizing the impact it has had on their work and the insights gained from their peers.
