Jerusalem-based startup C2A Security has secured a global, long-term agreement with Daimler Truck AG to use their EVSec product cybersecurity platform. This deal, whose value was not disclosed, is believed to be one of the largest product security tool agreements in the automotive industry by any cybersecurity company. As part of the agreement, Daimler Trucks will utilize C2A Security’s platform for all eight of its truck and bus brands. C2A Security’s EVSec platform aims to automate product security practices and ensure compliance with various regulations and standards in the industry. The platform allows developers to focus on innovative features while managing software and operations at scale in an automated manner. C2A Security has also inked agreements with other major car makers and partners, highlighting a growing trend towards prioritizing product security in an era of software-defined vehicles.
